We are a student run non-profit organization that aims to provide a fun and educational environment for under served students to learn about STEM topics such as robotics and 3D printing.
You will learn how to design and print your own 3D models. You will also learn how to use a 3D printer and how to troubleshoot common problems.
Camps are designed to teach students the basics of robotics and programming. Students will learn how to build and program robots using Funbotics own robotics kits. The sessions are designed to be fun and engaging.
The Funbotics mission is to introduce robotics and STEM to middle schoolers to prepare them for success in a technology driven world. Targeting communities that are typically underrepresented in STEM, we seek to break down barriers to entry into STEM careers for all.
Through Funbotics programs, we teach students engineering concepts, imagination and teamwork, inspiring them to pursue STEM careers while having fun at the same time.
We envision a future where young minds, regardless of background, have equitable access to STEM education. Through community engagement and programs, we hope to foster creativity, knowledge and a life-long love of STEM and learning, as well as instilling the technological skills and critical thinking abilities to uplift both the youth themselves as well as their surrounding communities. Together, we can create a positive impact on the future.
On September 28th 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to spend a day with a group of enthusiastic kids, diving into the world of robotics. Walking inside the building where the event was being held, I could already feel the buzz of excitement. The room was filled with young minds ready to explore, learn, and create something amazing from scratch.
